Man I'm a SPAZ!!

« Topic Start: January 29, 2008, 08:18:15 AM »

Little post to start the subject.  Grin

After lasts weeks dismal showing during monster truck, I went back to the bench for some improved performance. I shaved the front axle next to the knuckles for improved steering. It turns out that since my servo was not centered on the axle that I had better movement on the right knuckle than the left with the knucles connected directly to the servo saver. So I opted to make the tie rod type steering with the servo connecting to only the right side. That fixed that problem.
I also was highly disapointed in the speed. I thought it was pretty fast after installing the 6 cell battery, new ESC and receiver but quickly learned that is not the case. So I put in the fireball motor. I kept the stock pinion on there but may put a smaller one on after testing. Thats all for now cant wait till Thursday to see how it all worked out.  Cool
