Title: Cracked Chassis at King Pin Mount Post by: Russ on February 06, 2008, 09:10:17 AM I was noticing that I recieved a nice crack on the left front king pin holder. Not sure when it happened but I imagine it was last Thursday. Its not all the way cracked and I think I'll run it anyway but I could use a new chassis. Anybody have a gently used or new one to sell?
When I first saw those Atomic SSG strengthener pieces that glue onto the front mounts I thought they were novelty. But it looks like they might have been a good thing. Maybe I should pick some up. I know that the clear colored chassis are weaker than the light gray plastics. I have seen the clear ones get broken. Since I need two I will probably go HJ. I could get both for $17 shipped. Since mine is only cracked though maybe I could just add the strengtheners now and call it good. If someone is making a Kennon order soon let me know because to get two through them with shipping is $27.00.

Title: Re: Cracked Chassis at King Pin Mount Post by: Russ on February 20, 2008, 04:33:03 PM Well I got my PN 1 degree caster Tower Bar installed. Very easy to do by the way. It looks killer! I also put on 1 degree camber knuckles. I'm in the pursuit of high speed cornering. Hopefully I get there.
