Title: Luke, F1's done
Post by: briankstan on March 13, 2009, 02:59:47 PM
Luke,  I have you F1 done,  with upgraded fets,  I hard soldered the board into the chassis, shimmed the chassis to improve your handling.  Still has to much steering for my liking, but it at least turns consistently in both directions now.  You can come pick it up and test if you'd like or pick it up at the next race.   :flex:  Just let me know I'll be home most of the day tomorrow.

I forgot to mention,  I didn't have any of the 3010 fets, so I used some 8962 Fets that I had.  they are even a slight upgrade over the 3010's.

to be honest I didn't test it out before I removed the board.   it doesn't accelerate like the MR-02, but it does handle very similar to my F1 in acceleration now, The steering is another matter.   I did manage some good laps with it that were right there with my F1 times. Within a hundreth or two.
