I just found The Mother of all Hardware stores!!

Its a place called Marshalls Industrial Hardware on California Ave just west of I-215. They had everything you could imagine. Including but not limited to aluminum, brass, and steel stock. Every kind of nut, bolt, and connector you could think of. Tools, parts, springs, containers, sand paper, and like I say just about anything you can imagine. The prices were not great but not bad and you could save yourself tons of time looking around for hard to find items.
