Ryan,  you set the trim on the board to the new controller right?  maybe you need to adjust the trim on the board back.  give it a try.

maybe there is something in that paticular place on the adjuster that makes it go funny.

1st - swap crystals (done that)
2nd - try differenct controllers (done that then)
3rd- Try a different board that you know works (done that and still doesn't work)
4rd- test your self for magnetism or radioactive waste.

Bugatti Veyron, the best car in the world.

I haven't tried a new board yet, but russ said to take off the cover into the steering electronics, and to clean it out, lube it look at it for problems, ETC.(I havent done that yet) I'm not quite sure how to set the trim on the board but I did do it on the controller. The F1 on the same controller and crystals work just fine it's just my 02. If I don't fix it in time for the next race I'm just bringing my 01. I'm going to take off the electronic cover the instant I'm done looking on the forum.

if you can't figure it out let me know,  I'll look at it.

also it could be as simple as the antena wire being broken off on the board.    Look over it and if you need me to look at it I can pick it up and see what I can come up with.

I took apart the car and bought some compressed air to spray on the steering gears just like Russ said to,so I sprayed it and it worked (so far) Grin I'm so happy Grin It is now perfect. Grin What a simple answer to such a big problem.

Glad to hear you figured it out. These tiny little electronics can be frustrating.
